Track Internet Speed with NetSpeed

Netspeed is an applet that will display your current download and upload bandwidth of your network device. It is most useful because you can keep track of your Internet speed. And be able to determine if you are getting the bandwidth that you have subscribed with your service provider. Too bad, this usefool tool is only for Ubuntu 8.04 users. Listed is the instruction on how to install it on your desktop.
- Click the Synaptic Package Manager
- Click open the Search function
- Search for NetSpeed
- Click the checkbox near the netspeed package
- Sleect Mark for Installation
- Click Apply
- Then click Close after installation is finished
