Internet Filtering – Bad Idea
The world has heard of the process as with many countries who want to control their people with respect to information and other deemed to be potentially harmful sites, site blocking on the ISP level. many countries all over the world have tried to control it yet the advent of 3G data packet technology has rendered many of these measures useless and quite ineffective. There was a time when everybody could get any form of information from just about anything on the web. Security concerns prompted the installation of firewalls and other intrusion prevention systems that blocks unwanted users from getting into sites such as those of the FBI and other secure government sites. Governments have them yet even these million-dollar computer security systems are sometimes baffled by malware that evolves like the rest of the internet.
